Welcome!
The Highlights of our School
The Child and The Classroom
Our mixed age classroom provides the opportunity to learn from others, regardless of age, and to be a leader by teaching others. By being in a mixed age range, your child will naturally learn to solve social problems within a larger community.
Our integrated, global curriculum provides each student a vast array of hands-on learning tools that teach problem-solving skills, love of learning, and the confidence to explore. We avoid merely “teaching to the test” and instead prepare your child for life.
The Child and the Teacher
Due to the excellent student/teacher ratio, the teacher is able to provide individualized instruction, allowing each child to learn at their own pace. Because each teacher has a student for three years, they are able to understand each student’s unique learning style as well as gain a deep understanding of each student’s strengths and challenges.
The Child and Our Facilities
Radmoor has beautiful child-centered environments for student 18 months – 12 years. Our space includes a library, gymnasium, science area, and student kitchen.
The natural setting and greenhouse provide extensive science education opportunities for all of our students. Beyond academics, the greenhouse allows nutrition, cooking and small business opportunities as well. Each classroom has a wooded, spacious area for running, climbing and exploring.
A True Montessori Education
We follow AMI Montessori standards, which ensure quality teacher training and a full complement of Montessori materials and thus the purity of the original Montessori methodology. It also provides uniformity of teaching from the first classrooms to the upper levels.
Just as Montessori is represented on six continents, so too is our international school population.
